Hello

About Me

I’m Fırat, a computer science student pursuing a minor in mathematics. My interests sit at the intersection of the two: I enjoy problems that reward both rigorous thinking and hands-on building.

Most of my recent work has been in web development. I like it for the same reason a lot of people do — it’s an immediate, expressive medium — but I’ve also come to appreciate how much depth hides behind the surface: performance, accessibility, architecture, and the quiet art of making something feel effortless to use.

The mathematics side shapes how I approach engineering. Abstraction, formal reasoning, and a healthy respect for edge cases are habits I’ve borrowed from proofs and carried into code. I find that the best software, like the best math, tends to be simple in the end — even when getting there is anything but.

This site is a collection of the things I build: web applications, smaller experiments, and occasional forays into lower-level territory like emulators and systems programming. Some projects are finished; others are ongoing. Each one is a step in learning to build thoughtfully.

I’m always interested in connecting with people who care about their craft, whether that’s writing cleaner code, exploring a new domain, or simply trading ideas.
